Dad Crush: Justin Baldoni

Known for his role as Rafael Solano in Jane The Virgin, Justin Baldoni is our dad crush for the week.

Acting was never on the cards for this heartbreaker, no, he had his eyes set on a professional soccer career when a hamstring injury dashed his hopes of making it in the big leagues.

He left for California when a friend encouraged him to try out acting. He hasn’t looked back since. Justin has starred on both television and the big screen in Housebunny, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Heroes, CSI: NY, Happy Endings, and the latest, Jane the Virgin.

My Last Days a digital documentary series Justin created where living is told by the dying has garnered some serious attention making it the most watched digital documentary series. Its currently into its second season with the third due to air end 2018.

Since turning thirty, Justin spends his birthdays volunteering and feeding the homeless with friends. This circle of friends grew exponentially resulting in the birth of Carnival of Love, an annual event that aims to improve how people view the homeless and interact with those experiencing homelessness.

Justin is married to Swedish actress Emily Baldoni after a year of dating, the couple married and are now the proud parents of two beautiful children, Maiya Grace Baldoni and Samuel Baldoni. My wife grew up in Sweden. Every year around this time she would wake up to feet and feet of snow in the morning. Recently she’s been missing home a lot and has been giving 1000 percent to everyone except herself. She’s my wonder woman, she’s an unbelievable mother and wife and I literally don’t know what I would do without her. So this year instead of traveling to where the winter lives… I thought she deserves to have the Winter brought to her. In Los Angeles!! On top of that, Maiya turned 2 1/2 today so what a way to celebrate!! Seeing her face this morning was everything. There’s nothing better. Happy holidays everyone. From our family to yours!
