Dad Crush Monday: Liam Payne

This week’s Dad crush just got promoted to dad status with the birth of his baby boy on 22 March 2017. Liam Payne announced the arrival of his son to the world on Instagram with a photo where he is seen cradling the newborn.

In his post he wished all mothers a Happy Mother’s Day (Mothers’ Day was on 26 March 2017 in the UK) and left a sweet dedication to his partner, Cheryl.

Judging from his social media posts, the singer has been busy working on his solo career (ever since his band One Direction announced they were taking a hiatus). He has since signed with Capitol Records.

Liam has certainly come a long way since he first burst into the spotlight on UK talent show The X Factor.

He has put his fame and earnings to good use, donating money and raising awareness for worthy causes. In 2015, he donated over £50,000 and got his face painted at the Believe in Magic Cinderella Ball planned by his bandmate Louis Tomlinson.

Most recently, he tried to get more people to donate to (RED), the global campaign that seeks to eradicate AIDs. Liam  even offered one lucky fan the chance to sit in on one of his recording sessions in Malibu, California and have lunch with him at Nobu in a bid to get them to participate.

We can’t wait to hear what else Liam’s been working on and while we’d love to see more pictures of the little one, we’re happy to wait until the couple are ready to show their son to the world! Congratulations again Liam and Cheryl!
