Imagine this: the secret to defying time, unveiled in the twinkle of an eye. If you’ve ever dreamt of brighter, more youthful eyes, your wish has just come true. For busy mums, Sculptra Eyes might be just want you’re looking for on your self-care journey. This natural procedure, with minimal downtime, will fit easily into your hectic schedule.

With all the hype surrounding Sculptra Eyes, we at Mummyfique, decided to check out the treatment at Celevenus Wellness & Aesthetic Clinic. The clinic is centrally located at Ngee Ann City and was a huge plus for me as it was so easily accessible. Celevenus Wellness & Aesthetic Clinic is helmed by Dr. Dylan Chau, an experienced physician in this field since 2005 and specialises in seeking out natural and efficient treatments with high efficacy.

When I arrived for my appointment, I was ushered into the VIP waiting area where a massage chair was all set up so that I could register and get pampered at the same time! I immediately felt at ease and was really looking forward to the treatment.

So What Exactly is Sculptra?

Non-surgical facelift? That’s what everyone describes it and I couldn’t wait to try it. Say goodbye to fine lines, deep wrinkles, and sagging skin all without undergoing surgery! So what is Sculptra? It is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a collagen stimulator that absorbs into your body a few days after treatment to encourage your cells to produce more collagen. This stimulator would substantially increase the collagen of your skin to correct the folds, wrinkles and skin laxity because of aging.

Now, let’s focus on the wonder treatment – Sculptra Eyes. It’s akin to Sculptra but this time, it’s all about restoring lost collagen and facial fat around your eyes. As fashion and beauty blogger, Cindy Tan (@lecinlurvee) says, “The results are gradually reduced fine lines, wrinkles and folds, producing a natural-looking youthful look.”

Who is Sculptra for?

If you’ve got those nagging hollow under-eye circles and fine lines due to aging and sleepless nights, then Mama, Sculptra Eyes is for you. There are a few precautions to consider, as pointed out by the experts at National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) so do take note of them before deciding to undergo the treatment.

What is the Procedure Like?

It all begins with a comprehensive consultation with Dr. Chau. During this session, I found out more about the procedure, potential side effects, and expected outcomes. This session proved particularly useful especially if you have queries and concerns.

On the day of your treatment, after adhering to some pre-treatment instructions, I was in the capable hands of Dr. Chau. The therapist began the process with a meticulous skin cleanse to eliminate any lurking bacteria or dust. Then, he applied a numbing cream to ensure you’re comfortable before the start of the treatment. Once he’s assured that you’re set, the poly-L-lactic acid is gently injected beneath your eyes, triggering collagen production and delivering that youthful radiance.

What Happens Right After the Procedure?

Although you can expect some side effects, don’t worry, they’re only temporary. For me, the downtime was minimal, with slight bruising over a few days. You might also experience redness, tenderness, or itching, however, they’ll vanish soon enough. For optimal results, do avoid scrubbing the treated area.

How Long Do the Results Last?

While Sculptra Eyes may take a bit of time to work its magic, the results are well worth the wait. The effects can last up to an impressive 25 months, allowing you to revel in your rejuvenated, youthful skin without the need for frequent touch-ups. Digital creator, Angelina Pradana (@mz_prada) commented, “Sculptra works by stimulating my own body to create collagen to keep the face less wrinkly and sagging. It works very well to fill up any sunken part of the face, and last a lot longer as compared to a filler!”

What’s the Price Tag?

The cost of Sculptra Eyes varies and is based on your needs. My advice? Consult Dr. Chau. With prices starting from S$800, the total cost will depend on the number of injections required. His thorough consultation will give you a more accurate estimate of the total cost you’ll incur for the whole treatment.

In a Word…

Mavis Teo (@elma_chin), Founder of Centaurus Communications as well as esteemed travel and lifestyle journalist, shared about her experience with Celevenus on her Instagram page. She said, “I tried out Sculptra at all the right areas that not only helps in smoothing out my eye bags, but the lines around my mouth and even my neck has significantly diminished too. It helps my body produce more collagen to achieve a more rejuvenated look.

Achieving youthful, captivating eyes is now within our reach, thanks to Sculptra Eyes, and I must say, I was glad that I started my aesthetic journey with Celevenus Wellness & Aesthetic Clinic. The treatment was quick, comfortable and fits seamlessly into my busy Mum schedule without any fuss at all! Perfect!
