Healthy After School Snack Ideas

By Jessica
June 3, 2016

As a mother of two rapidly growing boys, there’s a constant need to stock the pantry with a wide range of snacks to appease the little tummies between meals. I often find myself planning ahead on weekends to create healthy snack options that the children can snack on during the week. So I had access to some samples of Chobani yoghurt and Arnold’s Farm granola clusters and muesli, I was really excited. These were the perfect ingredients for some healthy after school snack ideas and provided me with some great inspiration for recipes that have since become a household favourite:

Granola Clusters

The Arnold’s Farm granola comes chock full with a variety of natural flavour bits, which makes it an ideal snack on its own. However combine with melted marshmallows and peanut butter for the perfect child size snack. Recipe here

The folks at FROSTS also sent us some samples from a new yoghurt line by Chobani.

These Gippsland Dairy yoghurt cups came in three flavours, each sounding more delicious than the next. Blueberry Twist, Mango & Blood Orange Twist, Toffee & Honeycomb Twist. The yoghurt in each cup blended smoothly with the flavours and fruit bits. So if you’re too lazy to whip up something new and fresh for the little ones, these little pots are just the thing and they went down a treat with the kids.

Look out for Arnold’s Farm and Chobani products at a Cold Storage near you.
