Kim, Pat, Gucci & Charlotte Beauty Drops
Big news on the beauty front this past week with Kim Kardashian and celebrity makeup artists, Pat McGrath, Gucci Westman and Charlotte Tilbury teasing of new product drops on Instagram recently.
These ladies are fast becoming household names for their high-quality, on-trend products and we can’t wait to try them all out – sadly, we’re not quite sure when these babies will hit our shores but for now, US launches are scheduled for February and March, so online shopping (and travelling) will be the only way to get a hold of them.
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian is still revelling in the success of her recent fragrance launch, but it looks as though she already has another beauty product up her sleeve.
The reality TV star and beauty entrepreneur has taken to Instagram to reveal that she has a lipstick (and possibly more than one) in the works. Uploading a photo of herself sporting a matte, taupe shade of lip colour over the weekend, she published the caption: “@kkwbeauty lipstick coming soon.”
The launch will mark Kardashian’s first makeup product of 2018, following on from the release of her ‘Ultralight Beams’ powders and glosses back in December. That collection comprised five shimmery loose powders and five high-shine glosses in dazzling metallic gold, copper and bronze hues – a palette she could well be championing with the lipstick launch, judging by her clues so far.
Charlotte Tilbury

Makeup artist and cosmetics entrepreneur has unveiled her latest new beauty launch, and it is all about the shimmer.
The creative shared the news with her 1.7 million Instagram followers when she uploaded a clip of the new product in action at London Fashion Week.
Dubbed “Hollywood Flawless Filter,” the new drop consists of a complexion booster that also acts as a highlighter and primer. Responsible for the ultra-dewy skin sported by the models at Alice Temperley’s Autumn/Winter 2018 fashion show, it can be dabbed onto the bridge of the nose or the cheekbones, either over or under foundation.
According to charlottetilbury.com, the filter aims to “smooth fine lines & pores, blur imperfections & give a super starlit glow.”
Pat McGrath

Pat McGrath has unveiled her latest big beauty launch, days after teasing the release at New York Fashion Week.
The makeup mogul and celebrity beauty artist is launching three new “Mthrshp Eye Palettes” and a “Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner,” all scheduled for release on March 7 on patmcgrath.com.
Taking to Instagram to showcase her new products, McGrath revealed that the eye palettes will come in three different colourways containing six different shades, with the compacts named “Platinum Bronze,” “Bronze Ambition” and “La Vie en Rose.”
The latter appears to be the compact she used backstage at New York Fashion Week a couple of days back, when she created a striking fuchsia and violet eyeshadow look for the Anna Sui ready-to-wear Fall/Winter 2018 show. The makeup star had cryptically added the hashtag #comingsoon to earlier Instagram posts showcasing the catwalk beauty look.
Gucci Westman
Celebrity makeup artist Gucci Westman is channeling her expertise into a new beauty line.
The creative, who is currently consulting for skincare specialist brand SKII, is set to launch the Westman Atelier brand in April, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) reports.
The debut collection, which is being launched in partnership with her husband David Neville and will go on sale at westman-atelier.com and at Barneys New York, will comprise six different products, including foundation, blush, highlighter and contour sticks.
“I’m looking for transparency and authenticity,” Westman told the publication in an interview. “I try to combine makeup and skin care, which is actively doing something, but in a gentle manner. I don’t see the need to just colour and correct. I want to fix.” The brand’s website promises “cleanly formulated, performance-first make-up that actually improves your skin while making it look flawless.”
