First stop of the day – Your At-Home 360 Body Workout Reinvented workshop. Founder and CEO of Skin Inc, Sabrina Tan, and Skin Inc’s Product Innovation and Product Marketing Manager, Earth Sim demonstrates how to use the Tri-Light Body Sculpt Fit and to take our workouts to the next level.
Yoga Vin Flow by CruYoga
Did you know that yoga strengthens our immune system? Yoga has been shown to help lower stress hormones, calms the nervous system, and start our day in a more mindful, intentional space. Breaking down sophisticated yoga technicalities step-by-step, Instructor Bebe from CruYoga played a pivotal role in guiding our participants through some powerful, strong holds. For a post-workout unwind, Earth worked through a routine with Skin Inc’s Tri-Light Body Sculpt Fit to soothe the sore muscles.
Breathing and Tapping by ReDefine Wellness
When was the last time you took a deep breath? Probably not as recent as you think. Deep breathing may seem as insignificant as a speck of dust when it is, in fact, one of the easiest ways to combat issues like stress, anxiety and reduce high blood pressure. Starting Day 2 of Wellness Retreat on a mindful note, Shirley Tay, co-founder of ReDefine Wellness, led the participants through a series of invigorating breathwork techniques and fuss-free tapping techniques to be incorporated into one’s skincare routine.
Food for Soul by Baked By Wolf
It’s time to add a little spice to our homecooked meals with a refreshing platter of nutritious dishes. Baked by Wolf‘s resident chef – Chef Anthony Supangat brought with him three wholesome and delicious recipes. Under Chef Anthony’s guidance, participants learnt how to make Falafel with Pita Bread & Tzatziki Sauce, Banana & Walnut Bread and Orange & Chamomile Spritz. As the cherry on top, Chef Anthony squeezed in a generous portion of Skin Inc’s Beauty Jelly Dose for an extra boost of nutrients – chef’s kiss indeed!
Yoga Sculpt by CruYoga
What’s a better way to battle the food coma than with a yoga class packed with soulful and high-energy moves? Focusing on movements and breath this time, Instructor Bebe from CruYoga brought participants through a high-intensity SCULPT session. Walking out of the room with leaner, stronger and more flexible body, participants definitely felt recharged and rejuvenated. Talk about nama-slaying while you nama-stay at home.
Superfood Wonder – Acai by Gratefood Co
As the saying goes, “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.” A healthy breakfast befitting a king would naturally include the king of superfood – the acai berry. Coined as the purple wonder of Amazon, acai berries are loaded with anti-oxidants and contain essential fatty acids. Leading the Superfood Wonder – Acai workshop, Jacqueline Koay, founder of Gratefood Co. showcased how to create a wholesome bowl of acai power-packed with nutrients using Gratefood’s Organic Acerola Cherry and Fresh Frozen Spirulina. Tip: For additional Vitamin C, add a sachet of Skin Inc’s Beauty Jelly Dose.
Zentangle Workshop by ArtPeace
Feeling a little burnout from the daily grind? Skin Inc’s got your back with a stress-relieving activity. Leading us into the zen zone, Gina and Audrey from Art Peace introduced Zentangle Art, an art form that helps with stress management through drawing repeated lines. Starting off with a smaller canvas to build confidence, participants slowly worked their way to work on bigger pieces as all energy channels to drawing the lines and nothing else.
Guided Meditation by ReDefine Wellness
We carry tension from past and present experiences, and that tension can manifest in our bodies leading to aches, pains, sleeplessness and a lot more. Ushering in inner peace, Pooja, co-founder of ReDefine Wellness, guided participants through a set of meditation practice. Setting aside precious time for mindful meditation was a timely reminder for most to take a step back, breathe and reconnect with their senses.
