Actress Anne Hathaway gave birth to her first child with husband Adam Shulman on 24 March this year, naming the baby boy Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman. We have been following Anne’s journey on her path to motherhood and along the way have fallen in love with her effortless style, sense of humour and down to earth personality — making her our mum crush of the week!
As new parents, it’s unsurprising that the Shulmans are fiercely protective over baby Jonathan and to this date (with the exception of some paparazzi shots), have published no photos of him. Regardless, the little family seem to be adapting to the new addition well and truly seem happy:
#Throwback to when she announced her pregnancy on Instagram, she made our list of the top 10 celebrity pregnancy reveals:
Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends! So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter 🙂 Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead! ⚡️?Annie?⚡️
The Oscar winner celebrated the 2016 Oscars with her colleagues with this adorable photo of her and her bump with the Oscar she won for her role in Les Miserables:
Anne isn’t afraid to show her silly side, which we feel makes her even more lovable and easy to relate to:
She does, however, have her glamorous cover girl and red carpet moments as well:
It was such a joy to work with @Refinery29 on their interactive series (Un)cover. Shooting with @guyaroch and the crew was so much fun! My lovelies @kateleemakeup and @anhcotran killed it in the beauty dept. Many thanks to @jmkarmstrong for writing one of my favorite profiles ever (and thanks for being such a good sport about my getting us super lost on the way to the train station). Enjoy!! What we love most, though, is probably that she has a big heart, and it shows. Anne is one who knows she has the ability to influence people, and she uses her voice and social media platforms to help causes such as breast cancer and speaking out against gun violence in the States. She is the latest appointed Global Goodwill Ambassador of UN Women, has even travelled to Kenya and Ethiopia, raising awareness about child marriage and was the narrator for the educational documentary Girl Rising.
Excited to be appointed Global Goodwill Ambassador of @UNWomen, the UN agency for gender equality and women’s empowerment. Honored to work with @UNWomen to ensure that all genders are able to fully and equally participate in the world economy. I think we can all agree it's long past the time for action. unwomen.org
This March, Charlotte and Gwenyth Gray were diagnosed with Batten disease – a rare disorder of the nervous system. Because it's so rare, there hasn't been a lot of research and there isn't a treatment. If everyone could donate just one dollar to @curebatten, so much good could be done! (Follow the link in my bio for more info.) Thank you and peace xx #curebatten
She also looks up to fellow actress and UN Special Envoy to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Angelina Jolie:
On a lighter note, just like many of us out there, she’s an avid fan of Beyoncé:
Intelligent, gorgeous, and now with her very own family, nothing seems to be stopping this acclaimed actress from reaching for the stars. We can’t wait to see what she does next!
