This week’s mum crush is Ciara Princess Harris.
Ciara Princess Harris is an American singer, dancer and model. She was part of short-lived girl group, Hearsay before her songwriting skills scored her a contract with LaFace Records.
Ciara was the face and spokesperson for Jay-Z’s Rocawear’s, I Will Not Lose campaign in 2007. And then in 2008, Ciara together with fifteen other female artists participated in live television special encouraging people to stand up to cancer. They debuted a single, Just Stand Up which raised $100 million. All proceeds were donated to charity.
Sometime in 2009, Ciara appeared in magazine spreads and was appointed as the face of Verizon’s multimedia ad campaign. 2010 saw her as the spokesperson for Adidas Originals and the Global Ambassador for Revlon.
Ciara is married to Russell Wilson, a quarterback from Seattle Seahawks, the couple welcomed daughter, Sienna Princess Wilson last year. Ciara also has a son, Future Zahir Wilburn, from a previous relationship. Ciara currently has 17.5 million followers on Instagram.
