School’s out for the first term of the year – the perfect time to explore new places and experiences in Singapore. Expend your kids’ energy with new winter sports at Ice Penguin Singapore, bounce on inflatables in Sentosa, and visit the hidden realms at Exploria.

Ice Penguin Singapore, Clarke Quay (Opening in March)

Kids can improve their skating skills via VR simulation work.

Begin like a penguin on ice and learn to glide with confidence at Ice Penguin Singapore at Clarke Quay Central. In a 1,000 sq ft synthetic ice training space, children, teens and adults can build coordination, balance and confidence, and strong fundamentals. This will help them when heading out onto real ice and exploring winter sports like ice skating, ice hockey and figure skating.

Even little ones can try skating – with adult supervision – at Ice Penguin Singapore, a fully indoor, winter-themed experience for the whole family. Kids as young as four years old can start learning ice skating, and progress to ice hockey or figure skating as they get older. Furthermore, the lineup of coaches include Singapore National Team athletes and those who have represented Singapore in the SEA Games.

Furthermore, treat yourselves to unlimited fruit and beverages, inclusive in the admission ticket, or try some of the best cuisine from China at the buffet (separate ticket purchase). Other areas for your rest and relaxation include a lounge area, cinema and eSports rooms. Otherwise, catch up on your sleep at the sleeping pods. Currently in its soft opening phase, more facilities will be added, including a children’s play castle and interactive zones.

Mandala Racquet Club

Opening a second location in Sentosa in stages in March, the Mandala Racquet Club will feature four indoor, air-conditioned courts, three for padel and one for pickleball and an outdoor padel court. Courtside and by the pool, you’ll be able to refuel with food and drink by their exceptional culinary and bar teams. Next, for recovery, guests can try the outdoor pool or head to the wellness suite with thermal sauna and ice plunge. Other dedicated wellness zones will help promote rest and reset. Members can also enjoy member-only events like tournaments, social hours, wellness focused experiences and cultural gatherings. 

Gallop Stable, Admiralty

Moving from its location at Bukit Timah, the brand new Gallop Stable at Admiralty East Road. Housing around 160 horses and ponies, most of them retired and rehabilitated, children can try riding on the ponies with helmets provided. Trained staff will lead the ponies around the area and ensure the kids’ safety. Should their interest be sparked in horse riding, children can also take riding lessons ($45 and above for children 3 and up). Other activities include brushing or feeding the ponies, and having a up close look at the horses and ponies in their stables. Some indoor activities include crafts like window art, canvas painting, and horsehoe painting, and older kids can test their aim at archery.

Wellness Events

Splash Wonder Water Park, Palawan Green, Sentosa - 13 March to 5 April

An exciting prelude to K!DZ Pop Con Asia, a brand new pop-up adventure will be coming to Palawan Green. Some attractions at Splash Wonder Water Park include inflatable castles, obstacle courses and splash pools. Even the iconic Pinkfong and Baby Shark will make special appearances. On weekdays, enjoy unlimited playtime from 2 – 7pm. On Fridays to Sundays, eve of public holidays, public holidays and school holidays, each session is 3h, following three time slots. Tickets for 2 and up are $25 per person. Of course, adult supervision is mandatory for children under 1.2m.

Sentosa Beach Fest, 14 to 22 March, Siloso Beach

Debuting at Siloso Beach, Singapore’s first day-to-night beach fitness festival Sentosa Beach Fest comprises five action-packed zones for the whole family. At the Arena, fitness classes abound, from sunrise yoga to mat pilates and cardio kickboxing in the day to a high-energy Ultraviolet party at night. Aspiring Ninja Warriors can test their mettle at Showdown, featuring tactical climbs and explosive jumps. Ninjas-in-training can start with Defy Gravity calisthenics and continue with Ninja Shadow Tag in the cover of darkness. If beach sports are more your speed, Stadium will have Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball or football, perfect for first-timers or advanced players. 

As for the little ones, head to the Playground, the family zone, with inflatable courses, interactive games and beach sports. Prices from $18.19, with free sessions at the Arena on weekends.

Exploria, Mandai Wildlife Reserve, 3 March

Using AR windows in Realm of the Giants, static installations of prehistoric creatures are placed in real-life landscapes as if they still walked the earth, accompanied by sound effects and floor vibrations.

Open on 3 March, with tickets now available, Exploria showcases hidden realms of the natural world in an expansive 10,000sqm space. One of Southeast Asia’s largest indoor, nature-themed multimedia attractions, experience extraordinary environments and phenomena such as prehistoric eras, extreme habitats, ocean depths and microscopic ecosystems. Using real-world footage and science-led storytelling, explore how life survives and adapts across Earth’s ecosystems. For example, walk among towering dinosaurs, get caught in a monsoon storm, and view microbial worlds under magnified projections. Begin the exploration at Our Interconnected World, and then branch out into five immersive worlds.

These include the Realm of the Giants, Micro Worlds and Bitdeer AI Extreme Frontiers. Every action sends visible pulses of light to the 4m LED globe, indicating that small individual actions culminate in meaningful change. During Exploria’s signature light and sound show, The Planet Awakens, the globe also comes alive with synchronised projections, dynamic rhythms and colours. 

Personalised Experiences

Customise your experience with a Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) wristband to create a digital avatar, earn species badges and activate interactive installations, with a live scoreboard tracking each guest’s progress. Repeat visits help guests collect more badges and increase their achievements over time. Additionally, scanning these wristbands at specific spots unearth Hidden Gems, and guests can capture memorable moments at Memory Hooks photo stations. Standard admission from $38 for adults, and $28 for children and students. Finally, from now till 31 May, visitors can enjoy limited-time bundles, including admission and an Exploria-themed collectible blind box designed by Mighty Jaxx. 

Jurassic Experience, Gardens By the Bay (Ongoing)

Start your journey into Jurassic World with the mist-shrouded Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay. Immerse yourself in the cinematic wonder of the Jurassic World film franchise through life-sized animatronic dinosaurs in the cooled conservatory. Explore the various zones and travel back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Some highlights include the 8.5m tall Brachiosaurus, and come face to face with the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Discover the tiny Compsognathus in the garden pathways, and encounter tiny baby dinosaurs. Within the Cloud Forest are more than 72,000 plants. Of these, more than 50 species have lineages tracing back to the Jurassic period. 

Minecraft Experience, Mandai Wildlife Reserve, pre-sales from 10 March

Based on the global success of Minecraft, with more than 300 million copies sold, Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue will be coming to Green Canvas’s Mandai Wildlife Reserve on 24 April to 13 September 2026. This first stop in Asia follows successful runs in Dallas, Toronto and London. In this 1h interactive and immersive experience, blending large-scale theatrical sets, experiential storytelling, immersive projections and motion-tracking gameplay. Minecrafters of all ages transform into real-life heroes, venturing through eight Minecraft rooms with recognisable biomes. After gathering resources and interacting with Minecraft mobs, they can rescue a village under siege from a zombie attack. Presales begin on 10 March, while general ticket sales start on 11 March 2026.

Disney Cruise Line Fireworks Show, Marina Bay, 13 - 15 March

Additionally, to celebrate its maiden voyage from Singapore during the March holidays, Disney Cruise Line will have a stunning fireworks show at Marina Bay from 13th to 15th March, at 8.30pm for about 10 minutes. Accompanying the colourful display are classic Disney tunes. Some examples include Frozen’s Let It Go, Toy Story’s You’ve Got a Friend in Me,  and The Little Mermaid’s Under the Sea. Aside from showcasing the seven different themed areas, the fireworks display will also feature Peranakan-inspired accents. Afterward, go on a hidden Mickey Hunt to find the Disney Cruise Line-themed photo spots. 

Dot in Space, Science Centre, 13 March - 10 April

Embark on a mission to explore the unknown through a gamified trail to redeem limited edition collectibles. At the same time, children can learn how to live and work out in space. As a Space Cadet, they will also be able to identify the uniqueness of our planet, as well as the challenges for future generations. 

The Friends Experience, 7 March - 3 May

For just 8 weeks, FRIENDS™ fans can enjoy the interactive, nostalgia-packed set recreations, such as dancing in front of the fountain from The FRIENDS™ Experience. Other exciting photo opportunities include visiting Monica and Rachel’s kitchen, enjoying Joey and Chandler’s matching recliners in their living room. To make the experience even more memorable, explore their replica costumes, props and memorabilia, and go behind-the-scenes with perspectives from the show’s creators and costume design stories. All ages are welcome, free for children under 4, accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Tickets from $15 for children up to $29 for an hour. VIP and Ultimate packages are also available, allowing you to skip the queue on arrival.
