Our mum crush this week is strong, gorgeous, has walked down the runway of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show a record 16 times and she’s a mum of two! Who’s she? She’s none other than veteran supermodel Adriana Lima.
The only other supermodel who has walked down the Victoria’s Secret catwalk as many times as her is fellow Brazilian bombshell, mummy, and best friend Alessandra Ambrosio.
This mum-of-two is in her mid thirties and is still extremely fit. What we love is that she doesn’t hide the fact that she works hard for her body, and she’s uber proud of it.
Adriana’s proud of her home country. In fact, she was one of the torch-bearers at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Even though she has fronted many magazines, she was honoured to make the cover of Vogue Brasil.
Having been in the industry as long as she has, Adriana’s resume is super impressive. She’s been the face of Vogue Eyewear, Maybelline, IWC Schaffhausen, as well as one of Marc Jacobs’ newest fragrances, Decadence.
She’s a pro on the high fashion catwalk.
And she can regularly be spotted at red carpet events.
But behind all the glitz and glamour, Adriana is first and foremost, a mother.
Her daughters Valentina and Sienna are her world.
They’re her “best travel buddies”.
And best companions on a girls’ day out.
The little ones get huge, colourful birthday celebrations.
