Singapore Discovery Centre’s (SDC) holiday camp, Camp 1N, is back by popular demand this June holidays and it promises to be a whole load of fun! This escapade for families with kids aged five and above features action-packed experiences in the day along with a night mission trail as well as access to other exclusive perks too! Choose between two different fun-filled family-friendly experiences and opt for either the ‘Shiok’ Camping Experience (fully air-conditioned indoor setting) or the ‘Chio’ Outdoor Glamping Experience (outdoor camping by the Discovery Lake).
Camp 1N’s camping package includes four key programme highlights that are carefully curated into a unique itinerary. This will definitely be an unforgettable experience for you and the kids!
‘Army Days’ Experience
Kids will have the opportunity to pick up some survival skills during the specially crafted ‘Army Days’ experience by SDC in this camp. They’ll experience and relive days spent in the army which includes camouflage face painting, field cooking and working together to pitch a basha tent.
Exploring SDC Attractions
Furthermore, you and the kiddos will enjoy admission to SDC’s selected signature attractions which includes Black Lake Laser Battlefield (laser tag), Black Lake Facility, XD Theatre and Pedal Boat. Also, don’t forget to visit the Permanent Exhibits Gallery – Through the Lens of Time and Sandbox!
Eco-sustainability Tour And Workshop
In the holiday camp, both you and the kids will also learn all about sustainability with an Eco-sustainability Tour. There’s also a hands-on microgreen planting workshop where you can bring home your very own DIY plant to harvest and consume!
Get Toasty By The Lake
At night, you’ll be treated with a mini barbeque experience by the Discovery Lake, which is great for family bonding. Small bites and drinks will be provided.
Other highlights of the camp include a workout, gastronomic experiences at Bottle Tree Cafe Restaurant as well as a Night Mission Trail. You’ll also have some free time to bond together as a family.
Morning Workout At Discovery Land
Kickstart Day Two of the camp with a morning workout for a great start to the day, prior to savouring an indulgent breakfast.
Dinner And Breakfast At Bottle Tree Cafe Restaurant
Bottle Tree Cafe Restaurant overlooks the picturesque view of the Discovery Lake featuring over 600 floating solar panels and a water fountain. You’ll get to enjoy authentic Asian and local tze-char cuisine for breakfast and dinner.
Night Mission Trail
Test your wits with a special night mission trail around the centre! Follow the map, collect clues, solve riddles, and complete the mission as a team. At the end, the team with the highest score will win a mystery prize!
Free And Easy Activities
There are also free and easy time slots during the camp. You can complete crafts, participate in Nature Bingo and win prizes or even attend guided tours!
All campers will receive a Welcome Camp Kit and one Complimentary Parking Ticket will be issued per tent.
