Our chief marketing mummy Gidania (and her little boy Zyah) put on her creative apron this past weekend at a creative food master class conducted by one of our favourite food artists Lee Samantha who has recently partnered Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts to transform dishes from the hotel’s new Kids Menu into beautiful yet edible works works of art. Inspired by her experience, we have put together a list of parents who have found a fun way to entice their kids to eat healthily. We have to admit, they all look incredibly delicious…
Samantha needs no introduction. The Malaysian mother and International Food artist has garnered plenty of attention for her food art skills. Her journey started in 2008, and she is a firm believer in using fresh, healthy ingredients with minimal wastage.

Hailing from California, mother of six, Sarah makes some of the most elaborate food art meals for her kids. She begun doing so when her daughter started going through the “picky eater” phase.

Chockfull of food shaped like Japanese cartoon characters and scenic photos of Japan, Shirley’s account takes us straight to Japan. Based in Singapore, she started her bento journey in 2011. A self-professed fan of Japanese culture and anything kawaii, she speaks Japanese as well!

A Norway native, Ida just gave birth to a baby girl. Her food art journey started in 2012, and has taken a hiatus from her full-time job in statistics to be a full-time food artist. Looking at her feed gives you a very clean, healthy feel — perfect for when we feel like a dose of freshness.

Owned by Ming, a stay-at-home mummy to two boys. She started making bentos in 2008, when her elder son started going to school. Her food art has a very cutesy vibe, very suitable for children.
