#Fiquestagram 34: Instagram Moments from Mums We Love

By Mummyfique
May 8, 2017

It was a busy, fun-filled week for our favourite Instagram mummies as many took their little ones on fun outings around the island.

Geraldine Guo – @geraldineguo

Geraldine’s boys got the chance to ride in the vehicles that Singapore’s firemen and policemen use to put out fires and rescue people at the Home Team Show and Festival. What an experience it must have been for them! They definitely look like they enjoyed themselves. Then again, which little boy wouldn’t have a ball of a time with all the cars and motorcycles around?

Debra Li – @olimomok

That’s a huge bowl of (fake) noodles that Debra’s two older boys are tackling at the Thai Festival 2017! If that’s an indication of the food that was on sale, it must have been a delicious morning that the family had.

Summer Goh – @ahappymum

We had a blast at Universal Studios today from the time it opened till the time it closed, woohoo! The kids especially had a blast at #usschocoadventure, a new interactive experience where you get to dip marshmallows in chocolate fondues, hunt for chocolates, get lost in Cocoa Hedge mini maze, take pictures with larger than life candies, and meet characters like Cookie Monster, Candice Cupcake and Mama Cookie. This new and yummy experience is available for all guests to the park in the month of May. In addition, if you would like to let your child decorate cupcakes or cookies, sign up for the mini workshop at $6 per person. I know my kids can never say "No" to that because it's just too fun (and delicious)! P.S. *cough* Don't ask me how many chocs or sweets they ate today, we lost count! Well, just one of the days to close one eye, live and let live! Universal Studios Singapore recently rolled out ‘A Chocolate Adventure’ and it looks like it was a hit with Summer’s family. Well, when there’s marshmallows, chocolate fondue and life-sized sweeties, it’s unsurprising that the kids were in candy heaven.

Ginette Chittick – @ginettechittick

Our favorite family friendly exhibition #ImaginariumSG down at 8Q Singapore Art Museum is here again and will be up for the next 4 months. Lula and I had lots of fun interacting with the textured and brightly coloured sculptures that were commissioned responding to the theme of To The Ends Of The Earth. What's great about this exhibition is that the curators have programmed a series of activities as well. My favorite being the one where you can learn how to make your own non-toxic cleaning products. Deets below. Dates: 22 July 2017, Saturday Time: 2.30pm to 4.30pm Venue: Workshop Space, Level 2 of SAM at 8Q Admission: $5 per person (tickets available on SISTIC and at SAM) @singaporeartmuseum #luellaleemiller

Ginette and Lula had fun exploring the latest edition of Imaginarium: To The Ends of The Earth by the Singapore Art Museum. Don’t miss the exhibition, it’ll be around for the next four months.

Carole Lin – @carolelinxiaopei

A trip to the park is always fun, especially if you are in a competition with mummy to see who can jump better. We’re sure other mummies empathise with Carole — children just seem to have a never ending supply of energy.
