#Fiquestagram 25: Instagram Moments From Mums We Love

By Samantha Jong
February 20, 2017

It seems love was in the air with Valentine’s Day taking place last week and all the sweet moments we saw on Instagram. Here’s how some of our favourite mummies celebrated the occasion.

Dawn Wang – @daprayer

Dawn spent a quiet moment with her hubby and son Laurent, reflecting on what love means to her.

Geraldine Guo – @geraldineguo

Geraldine’s hubby bought her lovely roses, but like any mum would know, she only got the chance to appreciate them fully after all the errands and chores were completed for the day.

Libby Soh – @littlebowgirl

No fancy Vday dinner this year – instead, I got a hairdryer ? so in turn, when I asked K what he would like for dinner, his answer, as it almost always inevitably is, was "something simple". It doesn't get any simpler than "everything in the fridge" noodles, I guess. Chicken collagen soup udon with fresh tomatoes, Korean silken tofu, and slices of kurobuta pork belly. And for dessert, super moist coffee carrot mini bundt cakes, which I will proceed to drown in vanilla bean ice cream. As a special treat (and a testament to how thoroughly uncle and auntie we have become), I sliced up one of our $4-apiece super sweet Japanese Toki apples. . Happy Vday everyone! I got my hairdryer, and a beautiful beautiful bouquet from @dawnqflowers , so I think I would say all this aunties' expectations have been exceeded, exceedingly! . #littlebowkitchen #?homewiththeteos

Libby kept it simple this Valentine’s Day with “everything in the fridge” noodles, mini bundt cakes and ice cream for dessert, and special Japanese apples to end the yummy meal! it’s a simple but lovely looking meal for two.

Charlotte Kiew – @charlottekiew

It was hearts all over on Charlotte’s Valentine’s Day present — a Tula carrier. Baby Arissa looks really comfortable in this light blue carrier with lace trimmings.

Jayme Shing – @jaymeshing

For their tenth Valentine’s Day together, Jayme’s husband prepared one of the sweetest lunches for her by running around to six different places to assemble a meal full of her favourite things. We spot xiaolongbaos, salmon sushi, curry rice and sweet treats from Paul and Awfully Chocolate. What a spread this is for lunch!
