Gardens by the Bay Christmas Train Show: 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027
Celebrate the holiday tradition with model trains travelling through miniature landscapes inspired by Finland, Singapore and the United States in the Flower Dome at Gardens By The Bay. These feature botanical models of railway stations in the American heartlands, West Coast and East Coast, where the tradition of model trains beneath Christmas trees originated more than a century ago. New this year is an expanded local landscape to commemorate Singapore’s rail heritage, including reimagined MRT stations designed by National University of Singapore architecture students. Of course, a holiday Christmas train show would be incomplete without Santa Claus’ official hometown, snowy Rovaniemi in the Arctic Circle in Finland. Catch a glimpse of Santa’s daily life, his toy factory, reindeer sleigh and post office and a traditional Finnish sauna. Completing the ambiance are Christmas trees, poinsettias and conifers.
