With 15 years of experience in Taiwanese showbiz, Wallace Huo is a veteran actor who has starred in award-winning television dramas such as The Journey of Flower, The Imperial Doctress and Love Me, If You Dare. He has also made his mark on the big screen as the can also be seen on the lead in Suddenly Seventeen and Inside or Outside. His latest role in life may be his biggest one yet – being a father. The actor became a dad in January 2017 when he and wife Ruby Lin welcomed a baby girl into their lives, and from what we can tell, he is a hands-on dad who is absolutely smitten by his little angel.
Though he has established himself as an actor, Wallace initially had his heart set on becoming a singer. He only took on his first acting role in the drama, Star, as he would be given the opportunity to sing the drama’s theme song.
Soon after, more acting offers came his way and it was his performance as talented music director in the 2003 idol drama At Dolphin Bay, which propelled him to fame. That same year, he was casted in a total of seven idol dramas, a feat that no other actor has ever accomplished.

It’s a case of reel life turned to real life for this blissfully wedded pair. They first played lovers in the Sound Of Colors in 2006 and then again in 2011, in The Glamorous Imperial Concubine.
Shortly after their marriage, the couple welcomed a baby girl to their family in January 2017. To date, they have kept her name a secret and refer to her as Little Angel.
From accounts of those close to him, it seems that he is taking to fatherhood like a fish to water. Ruby herself has called him a “100 percent a good father who would help change diapers and bath the baby”, while his Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace co-star, Hu Ke, has said that the first-time dad “bragged that he was able to handle all aspect of child rearing, from feeding the baby, to changing the diaper and washing up after a child”.
The loving dad has mentioned that he is considering having a second child, so it looks like ‘Little Angel’ might have a playmate soon!
