His triplets were our trendy tots last week, but The Return of Superman’s Daehan, Minguk and Manse’s dad can definitely hold his own with his superstar kids as well. Read on to find out why we think he’s made of dad crush material.
He is incredibly successful. Just look at the number of films and movies he has acted in! For his efforts, he has won over a dozen awards.
Acting and modelling abilities aside, Song Il Kook’s easy-going and loving personality makes it hard not to love him.
For starters, his attitude towards family is admirable — his goal in life is to be a good husband and a dad that his children would be proud of. Work never takes priority over his family. The actor married Jung Seung Yeo, a judge at the Incheon District Court, in 2008, before having the triplets in 2012.
Due to the nature of her job, the triplets’ mum is rarely seen on screen. It’s a totally different matter for the three little ones though, they have even made appearances on the set of dad’s drama series Jang Yeong-Sil.
As a dad, his unconditional, deep love for his sons can be felt by anyone who has watched the adorable trio on The Return of Superman. In one interview, he was quoted as saying “I think I can accept anything from my children. I just want them to grow up healthy.” What a great mindset!
It seems like the triplets will be following in his footsteps, having already starred in various commercials and photoshoots.
With such a loving dad, we think the triplets are lucky to have a wonderful role model to look up to!
