This Father’s Day on 9th June, Mummyfique celebrated the men in our lives with a Custom Watch Workshop where five business-owners and influencer mums got to customise one-of-a-kind Father’s Day watches for their significant other.
Bikes, Watches & Cats!
This special experience took place at Cranky Cats Co., where owners Dom and Jo are passionate about bicycles, Seiko-movement custom watches and cats! Our guests were greeted by a cosy, eclectic space, that showcased gorgeous Brompton bicycles, the minute we stepped in. Thereafter, they were whisked away into a brightly lit workspace to began their customisations!
Mums At Work
Right from the start, everything was laid out neatly in front of each participant. As well, there was an instructional sheet with pictures of all the watch parts you would need to make your very own timepiece. You can place the sheet on a platter so that you can carry around to find what you need. Our influencer mums were like excited little girls, picking out what they needed for their curated gift.
The Cranky Cats Co.’s Custom Watch Workshop is easy for beginners. Their staff on hand were knowledgeable and guided our mums patiently. There was such a wide array of materials available; our mamas were definitely spoilt for choice! Dom specially handpicks all the Seiko watch pieces and accessories. You can select from the myriad of stations that displayed the beautiful intricate parts that make up a watch. Not only were there leather and steel straps, but also dials, bezels and other accessories to choose from.
With an instructor present and easy to follow directions, our mums began assembling their gift of love. Laughter and chatter filled the air, along with a delicious cheese platter and wine to complete the experience.
At the end of the session, the ladies marvelled at each other’s accomplishments and couldn’t be more pleased! Furthermore, each timepiece came in a plush box, which made it perfect for gifting.
Overall, everyone had an awesome time at the Custom Watch Workshop. We highly recommend it for birthdays, events, team-bonding, parties and anniversaries. It’s perfect for spending quality time with your significant other, family and friends. Likewise, this is a great activity if you’re looking for a special and unique experience.
