They have a world-famous singer as a mum and their dad is a Spanish soccer player, and they have been in the spotlight since they were born. Our trendy tots for the week are the sibling duo, Milan and Sasha Pique, who despite their young age are already showing signs that they have the same skills that their parents possess.
First up is little Sasha. He may only be one but he’s definitely got his mum’s moves! Check out the cute instagram video of the second son of Hips Don’t Lie singer Shakira and football player Gerard Pique grooving to his mum’s latest song, Chantaje.
Born on 30 January 2015 as Sasha Pique Mebarak, his name is of Greek and Russian descent, and means ‘defender of mankind’ and ‘warrior’.
Elder brother Milan Pique Mebarak’s name on the other hand means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic, eager and labourious in ancient Roman and unification in Sanskirt. Little brother may have gotten mum’s moves, but Milan here has her looks.
Sibling rivalry doesn’t seem to exist though if pictures are to be believed as the duo are frequently seen together be it sleeping or playing.
This includes making appearances on the pitch with dad, which they have done on more than just one occasion, decked out in customised mini Barcelona FC jerseys.
And like their dad, they have shown an affinity for the game of soccer and have been spotted kicking a soccer ball around. Future soccer players in the making perhaps?
Dad seems to have started already started Milan’s education on ‘the beautiful game’. The little one has been spotted watching soccer matches on television.
It’s not just limited to soccer it seems. Dad seems to be keen on honing all Milan’s interest in all sports.
When you have superstars as parents, seeing the world with them is par for the course, and these little ones have certainly been places. Don’t they look adorable in puffy jackets with chubby cheeks in Japan?
Now that they are slightly older, they been making more public appearances with their parents, and that’s definitely not a bad thing in our books.
