Jason Momoa, our dad crush this week, has a strong and protective exterior but underneath his fierce facade is a loving father and husband with the personality of a cuddly bear!
The action superstar has had quite a busy few years. From playing the very sexy Khal Drogo in hit HBO Original series Game of Thrones to starring as Aquaman in Zack Snyder’s highly anticipated film, Justice League.
Even though his character Khal Drogo perished pretty early in the Game of Thrones storyline, he was honoured with his own mini figurine. In the TV show, Khal Drogo was known as a loving and protective husband, which isn’t far from Jason’s own personality in real life.
In 2010, Jason founded Pride of Gypsies, an initiative to help individualistic artists and film makers come together to produce unique, inventive content. He counts producing and directing Carhartt’s Spring 2016 campaign as one of Pride of Gypsie’s most recent projects.
Jason is also an avid outdoorsman who loves the great outdoors. His Instagram feed is filled with lots of nature-esque photos that look like they belong on a postcard or in a painting.
He has an awesome sense of humour as well as evidenced by this photo of him monkeying around on the red carpet with Justice League co-star Henry Cavill.

Jason is part native Hawaiian and part native American and he takes great pride in where he comes from. He gave both his biological children with wife Lisa Bonet — daughter Lola Iolani Momoa, who was born in 2007 and son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, who was born in 2008 — names that pay tribute to his heritage. Jason is also stepfather to actress Zoë Kravitz.
