Part of our #Tokyo trip was trying to be hands-free which seemed almost impossible when you have a cheeky boo with you. She waved at everyone like a queen, showered them with grins as we walked down streets and offered her pacifier to specifically @ubertokyo drivers. To which they kindly took and pretended to use it. She also knocked over a glass of water on a lady's leather bag while we were having ramen in a tiny shop. I gasped in horror and offered my continuous apologies. Despite all the nonsense she did, the Japanese were kind enough to play with her, praising her "kawaii" numerous times. Some even carried her so we could have a moment of peace at dinner. I don't think there is a country quite like this and I'm so glad to have brought her there where she could take home with her the first lesson of humanity. #slowlife #slowliving #travel #journeys #alessandrayeung #firstbirthday
