Prince Alexander of Sweden

The Swedish royal family recently released official photographs from the christening of their youngest prince — Prince Alexander.

The little royal, whose full name is Alexander Erik Hubertus Bertil, was born on 19 April 2016 and is the first child of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sophia.

The fifth in line to the throne was christened last Friday (9 September 2016) at Stockholm’s Drottningholm Palace where he was dressed in a white christening gown which is more than 100 years old.

Crown Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan

The royal family of Bhutan recently released new photos of Crown Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck to the public. Here’s one that shows off his latest milestone: sitting upright. It’s also the cover shot for a free desktop calendar for September.

Prince Jigme was born 5 February 2016. He is the first child of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the fifth and current reigning Dragon King of Bhutan, and Queen Jetsun. The royal baby’s parents are widely considered to be the William and Kate of the Himalayas.

The name of the prince was announced to much fanfare at an official naming ceremony held on 16 April 2016. Prior to the announcement, he was known only as The Gyalsey, which means ‘prince’.

On King Jigme’s Instagram account, he wrote: “Jigme means fearless, and invokes the strength to confront any challenges that the future may present, without fear or hesitation, when the time comes for the Gyalsey to serve his country.”

Prince George of the United Kingdom

Prince George Alexander Louis, born on 22 July 2013, is the firstborn and only son of Prince William and his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.

He turned three just two months ago and Kensington Palace released new photographs of him to mark the joyous occasion. The cheeky royal started school at the Westacre Montessori School near his family home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk back in January (2016).

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born on 2 May 2015 at St Mary’s Hospital in London. She is the younger child and only daughter of Prince William and his wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Named after her grandmother and great-grandmother, the darling Princess celebrated her first birthday four months back. Here are some snaps of Princess Charlotte released by Kensington Palace when she turned one.

It has been rumoured that Princess Charlotte and her big brother Prince George will join their parents on a tour to Canada later this month. If so, this will be 16-month-old Charlotte’s first tour abroad.

Prince Oscar Carl Olof of Sweden

Prince Oscar Carl Olof was born on 2 March 2016, at Karolinska hospital in Stockholm.

Prince Oscar is the second child of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. He is third in the line of succession to the throne after his mother and four-year-old sister, Princess Estelle.

Prince Oscar was christened in May this year and a special ceremony was held at the Royal Palace’s chapel in Stockholm.

Royal twins of Monaco Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriela
