Jimmy Kimmel is probably best known for his late night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, but did you know that the well-known comedian, writer and producer, is also a loving dad of two? Find out more about our dad crush of the week here!
In terms of his career, Jimmy is on an upward trajectory. He recently announced that he will return as host of the Oscars next year (2018).
His late night show has also been doing well. He even managed to get Irish rock band U2 to make a rare appearance — it will be the band’s only U.S. TV performance and interview for their current tour that marks the 30th anniversary of their album, The Joshua Tree.
That said, Jimmy is used to having big name celebrities on his show having hosted stars the likes of Adam Sandler, Emma Watson, Chris Pratt and Natalie Portman.
Work aside, Jimmy is also a devoted dad. Shortly after welcoming his second child, Billy, with wife and and co-head writer Molly McNearney on 21 April 2017, the little boy was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease and had to undergo surgery when he was just three-days-old. Jimmy bravely shared his own experiences with the public and how he felt when he heard his son was ill. We’re happy to see that the little boy is doing well now.

Jimmy is already a great hands-on dad with his firstborn, Jane.
Just earlier this year, he brought her to see her very first movie.
