Recent news of singer Jay Chou’s incredibly sweet words to his wife reassuring her that he will always love her first has certainly made him all the more attractive in the eyes of women all over the world. After all, nothing makes a celebrity dad hotter than when they publicly gush over their wives as mums, sharing about how their special ladies demonstrate strength, kindness and patience in their daily lives. Inspired by the King of Mandopop’s sweet words, we went hunting for other swoon-worthy moments from our favourite celeb daddies. If they don’t make you go aww, we don’t know what will.

1. Jay Chou

King of Mandarin pop music, Jay Chou has certainly raised the bar when he reassured his wife by saying, “I will love you first and our daughter second.” With that affirmation, his model wife Hannah Quinlivan, is now ready to have two more children. We are excited to see more minifiques in the Chou entourage!

2. David Beckham

Married for 17 years and counting, David and Victoria Beckham are one of our favourite power couples and its no secret that the football legend is still smitten with his wife even after four kids. In celebration of Mother’s Day, he took to Instagram to share his appreciation, “17 years ago, our brood started and these little ones have the most amazing mummy that they love so much.. And I love her for many reasons but the main one is because she gave me the most amazing children.”

3. Ashton Kutcher

The ever-charming star opened up about his gorgeous wife, Mila Kunis and precious baby girl, Wyatt Isabelle during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. We love it when he went, “the most amazing thing about having a baby is my partner, Mila. She’s the greatest mum. I go to work every day and I come home and she’s like perfect. And it just seems like everything went amazing and I know that something probably didn’t go amazing, but she never complains.” Someone please give the man a kiss for being so appreciative!

4. Channing Tatum

When the hunky dad posted a Mother’s Day message for his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, it was possibly the sweetest Instagram tribute ever. Accompanied by a snapshot of Jenna cradling their new-born, he wrote, “I took this just days after Jenna and I (mostly Jenna) brought our little girl into the world. I’ve taken many like it over the past 3 years but this is one of my favorites. She was so tired. Haha. But she has such deep strength and other worldly grace. Watching her in those first days transform into a mother was life changing. She was every bit the beautiful, sexy, funny, flawed creature I fell in love with. But the prism turned and showed a whole new light that I had no idea existed, the light of a mothers love. Thank you for that baby.” We’ve melted into a puddle of romantic mush!
