Majulah Singapura! Singapore’s 60th birthday is here and the celebration promises to be the most spectacular that we’ve ever seen. Get ready your red and whites and raise your Singapore flag high, SG60 is going to be spectacular. Aside from the National Day Parade, there are many activities happening islandwide with massive deals awaiting a fun-filled celebration with the kids throughout the long weekend. Are you ready? SG60 here we come!

National Day Parade At The Padang

When: 9 August 2025, telecast starts at 5pm 

Where: The Padang (or watch at satellite locations)

The main event is back at its historic home! The Padang holds such a special place in Singapore’s heart, and this year’s parade promises to be unforgettable. Watch the Red Lions parachutists descend from the sky, marvel at the mobile column featuring air, land, and maritime displays, and catch the enhanced aerial show that’s never been seen before at NDP.

Couldn’t get tickets? No worries! The parade will be broadcast live at five satellite locations including Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Barrage, and Singapore Sports Hub. Plus, it’s on all the free-to-air channels, so you can enjoy it from the comfort of your sofa.

State Flag Flypast

Where: Various locations across Singapore

One of the most thrilling moments of National Day! You don’t need to be at the parade to catch the magnificent jets soaring overhead. The State Flag flypast and F-16 jets will fly over various neighbourhoods, creating that spine-tingling moment that makes everyone stop and look up.

Last year’s routes covered areas from Woodlands to East Coast, so keep your eyes peeled for this year’s announcement. It’s pure magic watching the helicopters carry our flag across the Singapore skyline.

Gardens by the Bay National Day Concert

When: 3 August 2025, 7:30pm to 10pm 

Where: The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay

What’s this year’s theme? It’s “Ties that Bloom” and what a fantastic line up it will have for the concert! Kit Chan, Taufik Batisah, Yung Raja, and Charlie Lim (who helped write this year’s National Day song) will be performing. The kids will love the carnival games and roving acts, whilst you’ll be singing along to all the classics.

Stay until the end for the fireworks display against the iconic Supertrees – it’s absolutely breathtaking. And here’s the best bit: it’s completely free!

Heartland Celebrations

When: 10 August, 2025 

Where: Bishan – “Nurturing Communities, Shaping Tomorrow”

  • Location: Open field beside Junction 8
  • Special feature: Exclusive Red Lions parachute performance

Punggol – “One HOPE”

  • Location: Open field next to One Punggol
  • Community focus: Unity and aspiration

Yishun – “Heartbeat of our North West”

  • Location: Open field next to FutsalArena
  • Celebrating neighborhood spirit

Geylang – “Bridging Generations, Stronger Together”

  • Location: Open field beside Wisma Geylang Serai
  • Heritage and multicultural celebration

Bukit Gombak – “Together We Shine and Spark”

  • Location: Bukit Gombak Stadium
  • Community achievement showcase

The party continues in your neighbourhood! Five heartland locations will host themed celebrations with carnival games, family activities, and live performances. The kids will be thrilled to see displays of army vehicles, fire engines, and police cars up close.

The Mobile Column will also make its way through five different routes, bringing the excitement right to your doorstep. Don’t forget to grab your NDP 2025 fun pack whilst stocks last!

Each location features F-16 flypasts between 6 to 6:30pm, with four aircraft performing two loops over each celebration site. Additional attractions include drone shows, live performances, community art installations, and special skating experiences for kids.

NDP 2025 Bay Celebrations @ Gardens by the Bay

When: 9 August 2025 from 4:15pm to 9pm

Where: The Meadow @ Gardens by the Bay

National Day Parade celebrations will extend to the Marina Bay area, with Gardens by the Bay serving as one of five satellite sites where you can gather to catch a live telecast of the Parade.

The celebrations will unite through shared key moments, including a nationwide Majulah Moment where marching contingent personnel will join Singaporeans in reciting the pledge recitation and singing the National Anthem at each site, creating a unified #CelebrateAsOneSG experience.

National Museum National Day Celebrations

When: 9 August, 2025, 9:30am to midnight 

Where: National Museum of Singapore

What’s happening at the National Museum? Free admission to all galleries, plus a day packed with activities! There are also outdoor inflatable playgrounds inspired by local HDB designs, craft activities, scavenger hunts, and intergenerational programmes. Kids can enjoy bouncy castles whilst you explore the museum’s fascinating exhibitions. The day ends with a live telecast of the National Day Parade on the museum’s front lawn – perfect for a family picnic under the stars.

NTUC NDP Bay Celebrations 2025

NTUC NDP 2025 Bay Celebrations Singapore

When: 26 July, 2 & 9 August, 2025 from 4pm to 9pm 

Where: Promontory @ Marina Bay 

This year’s theme is “Majulah SG Youth” and it’s happening at Promontory @ Marina Bay with live NDP telecasts, AI photo booths, art installations, and performances by local artistes. Previous years have included brilliant goody bags with food coupons – fingers crossed for 2025!

Even if you don’t get tickets, the area’s still worth visiting for the music and atmosphere.

SAFRA Bayfront National Day Celebrations

When: 2 & 9 August, 2025 from 4:30pm to 10pm 

Where: Bayfront Event Space 

There will be Live NDP screening plus pre and post-parade programmes featuring local talent and energetic party sets. You’ll have fantastic views of the fireworks from here too!

Singapore Symphony Orchestra National Day Concert 2025

When: 16 August, 2025, 7:30pm

Where: Esplanade Concert Hall 

Price: From S$15

What a beautiful way to celebrate our musical heritage! Since 2018, Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s annual concert has honoured Singapore’s musical legacy whilst showcasing contemporary composers. It’s a lovely cultural experience for families with older kids.

Majulah Fiesta at Singapore Sports Hub

When: 26 July to 23 August 2025 

Where: Singapore Sports Hub 

A month-long celebration! Watch the National Day Parade live at OCBC Square, catch the “Fly Our Flag” flypast at Stadium Roar, and enjoy the fireworks at Stadium Riverside Walk. There’s something happening throughout the period.

Istana National Day 2025 Open House

When: 28 July, 2025 from 8:30am to 6pm 

Where: The Istana, Orchard Road 

Price: Free for citizens/PRs, S$20 adults/S$10 children for others

Yes, it’s back! This is a superb chance to grab the kids and explore the beautiful Istana grounds! Free entry for citizens and permanent residents, with guided tours of the Nature and Main Building, including the stunning Japanese Garden. The kids will love the activities and performances, plus there are delicious treats from food stalls! It’s always a treat!

One Punggol Celebrations

When: 3 & 9 August 2025 

Where: One Punggol

Two days of festivities at One Punggol! On 3 August 2025, there’ll be family activities, stage performances, movie screenings, and brilliant kids’ entertainment including bouncy castles and arcade games. On the 9th, you can gather around to watch the live NDP broadcast whilst enjoying carnival activities and also catching the flypast.

SingNation! at Capitol Singapore

When: 3 August 2025, from 7:15pm to 8:15pm 

Where: Capitol Singapore Outdoor Plaza 

This is a wonderful community celebration with trivia games, heritage stories, and sing-alongs of beloved National Day songs. The evening ends with fireworks of course and kids will definitely be thrilled!

Marina Barrage NDP Celebrations

When: 9 August 2025, 12pm onwards 

Where: Marina Barrage 

Sustainability meets celebration and we love it! Right at Marina Barrage, there’ll be Live NDP screening on the Green Roof, plus activities showcasing environmental awareness. The kids can enjoy interactive games whilst learning about Singapore’s green initiatives.

Pororo Park National Day Celebrations 2025

When: 9 August 2025 from 6pm-9pm 

Where: Pororo Park, Marina Square

Price: Park Entry Fee Applies

Pororo Park celebrates National Day with carnival games, balloon sculpting, mascot parades, and a live NDP stream. Every child gets a goody bag worth up to S$100, plus there’s a special fireworks viewing area! Guaranteed a whole lot of fun for families with young kids.
