Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2017
Soak up the Mid-Autumn festival atmosphere with junior at the Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2017 where young and old can enjoy cultural performances and workshops. Little ones can learn more about the origins of the mid-autumn festival at the storytelling session, and watch the colourful LED Dragon Dance. Parents can also bond with their tots through the cellophane lantern-making workshop and snowskin mooncake workshops. End the night with a lantern walkabout and movie screening of The LEGO Batman Movie.

Moonfest at Esplanade
This year’s Mid-Autumn festival celebrations at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay has been expanded from three days to six. At Moonfest 2017, Families can purchase tickets to performances such as The Magic paintbrush or participate in the lantern-making workshop and other traditional Chinese arts. There are also free events such as riddle-solving quizzes, a wing chun demonstration, basic dialect class and film screenings, all to help everyone get in touch with their Chinese roots.

Chinatown Mid Autumn Celebrations 2017
Over at Chinatown, enjoy the showcase of colourful LED lantern displays, cultural performance and activities, along with a festive street bazaar. There’s also a host of activities for little ones, including mooncake making, calligraphy and lantern painting. Don’t miss out on the Festive Street Bazaar where you can shop and enjoy cultural performances by popular troupes and entertainers. End the night by participating in the Mass Lantern Walk where families are encouraged to join hands and carry their lanterns and walk through Chinatown.

Mid-Autumn at Gardens By The Bay
Garden by the Bay is commemorating the Mid-Autumn festival with lantern displays and a host of festive activities. Take in the large lantern display, Waters of Prosperity, which depicts a fishing village with 70 carp lanterns, as well as other displays of a dragonfly, waterlily and rice stalk lantern, as well as an assortment of vegetable and fruit lanterns within the Flower Dome. The Supertrees will be lit up in sync to a special Tales of the Moon edition, where songs revolving around the moon will be played for an hour. There will also be activities for junior at the Fun Zone such as Chinese Knotting and Umbrella Painting workshops.

The Grandstand Mid-Autumn Festival 2017
