Lululemon teams up with Central Saint Martins talent for new capsule collection.
Lululemon has once again enlisted the help of Central Saint Martins designers to create a new limited edition range inspired by the Japanese city of Kyoto.
Released earlier this week, the new collection is the second time the brand has teamed up with the famous London art college, after tapping into the school’s creativity for a capsule collection early last year.
This time around M.A. Fashion students were challenged to create prints inspired by Kyoto which could then be printed onto Lululemon’s quick-drying, sweat-wicking NuluxTM fabric.
The result is a vibrant, abstract collection of designs across three of Lululemon’s iconic styles including the Energy Bra Central Saint Martins Nulux, matching Wunder Under Hi-Rise Tight yoga pants, and the Speed Wunder Tight Central Saint Martins Nulux for those who prefer to work up a sweat running or training.
The range starts at US$52 with WWD reporting that the garments will be available online at lululemon.com and in stores in the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia.
