Barbie Hsu and husband Wang Xiaofei welcomed a baby boy into the world on Saturday, 14th May. Having only announced the sex of her baby some three months ago on Chinese New Year Eve, her pregnancy journey was not an uneventful one. The Taiwanese actress announced on various media platforms that she felt unprepared for the birth of her second child, and had been experiencing a difficult pregnancy with lots of cramps with the sci-fi fan commenting that the shape of her pregnant belly resembled an alien’s head. Even during delivery, she fainted and suffered from epilepsy so there was certainly much to celebrate when the baby was born.
As a tribute to the celebrity mama, we take a look at her pregnancy journey:

We can’t wait for a family photo with the newest addition!
We’re looking forward to documenting the pregnancy journeys of the following Asian celebrities who have also recently announced that they’re expecting.
Annie Yi
Annie Yi found out she was pregnant in a very unique way — when she went for a three kilometre jog. The Taiwanese singer wasn’t showing any signs of pregnancy, and so was understandably frightened when she started bleeding and cramping abnormally. The 46-year old has rarely been seen out and about since then.
Linda Chung
Linda announced her pregnancy on Instagram with a sweet post on Mother’s Day about entering motherhood.
