It’s always a thrill for the little ones to see their favourite television and toy characters come to life, whether it is in an entertaining performance or at a meet and greet photo session.
Luckily for us in Singapore, our shopping malls share the same thoughts and every year-end period, there are always many public shows and photo sessions for children to look forward to. Don’t miss out or you’ll have to wait a whole year for the chance to see them again.
Here’s a round up of where you can take your little ones to meet their favourite characters this year.
Sesame Street Live! Show with Meet & Greet
Your favourite Sesame Street characters like Elmo, Cookie Monster and Grover, boogie on the stage to catchy tunes in a show that will get everyone dancing. To attend the Meet & Greet session, redeem a photo pass an hour before the start of the session with S$30 spent in a receipt.

Barbie Dreamtopia Live Show with Meet & Greet
Let Barbie and her youngest sister Chelsea bring you into the magical world of Dreamtopia where they swim through rainbow rivers and fly through cotton candy clouds with fairies in the Live shows at Great World City. To attend the Meet & Greet session, redeem a photo pass 30 minutes before the start of the session with S$30 spent in a receipt. Children can also participate in a host of other Dreamtopia activities such as a tea party and kids’ makeovers.

Pokemon at Changi
The character that swept the nation into a swiping and throwing pokeball frenzy has now taken over Changi Airport. Little ones who adore Pikachu can now see him in person and bring home a souvenir photo to boot. There are also a myriad of other Pokemon at Changi (pokemonatchangi.com) activities such as donning a Pikachu festive look with the Narikiri face painting machine, and hunting down pokemon on the Poke Trail.

Pororo & Friends Live Show with Meet & Greet
Everyone’s favourite blue penguin and his buddies will be entertaining families with their musical numbers and making the day of mini-fans everywhere with a special photo opportunity. Be there early as limited free photo passes will be given out at 12.30pm.

Robocar Poli Meet & Greet
The characters from the rescue team that saves the day every single time come to Ngee Ann City to meet little ones as part of Takashimaya’s Christmas Funtasy. There’s also a DBS Cardholders Exclusive Show on 7 Dec at 1pm.

Nick Jr — A Present for Santa Live Show with Meet & Greet
All your little ones favourite Nick Jr. characters such as Dora and Boots, and PAW Patrol’s Chase and Marshall comes together for a Christmas adventure to deliver a present to Santa. And they’ll hang around after their show to meet their mini fans. To attend the Meet & Greet session, redeem a photo pass an hour before the start of the session with S$50 spent in a receipt. The family can also head to the wonderland at the city green to experience Nick Jr. games and activities.

Pony Magical City Meet & Greet
Fans of My Little Pony will be thrilled to meet Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Twilight Sparkle and her assistant Spike at Suntec City. To attend the Meet & Greet session and photo opportunity, a minimum of S$80 spend in a receipt is required.
