Despite F&B restrictions limiting to only 2-pax dine in, we’re still seeing new restaurants and eateries sprouting up to tantalise our taste buds. Whether it’s a cosy date for two or a family-friendly restaurant, Mummyfique goes on monthly food trails to bring you highlights on the latest restaurants and menus to satisfy your food cravings.

Located in the lush enclave of Dempsey Hill, Terra Madre, offers a one-stop shop for everything organic and natural and we’re sure you’ll love it.

The 6,000sqf Terra Madre houses the island’s largest range of affordable organic and natural store, right next to its restaurant. It debuted upon the realisation that there was a gap in the Singapore market for accessible organic and natural ingredients that offered customers the best of both worlds – retail and dining. The online and in-store offerings have over 1000 products which include pantry essentials, organic beverages, delectable confectionery, an extensive range of baking ingredients, specialty products like truffles, oils, spices, vinegars, and even household items. The store will also house the largest range of proteins, superfoods and nutraceuticals.

Aside from the retail experience, guests can look forward to an exceptional Australian inspired food menu across breakfast, lunch and dinner that also offers delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes and a wide selection of organic drinks and healthy shakes. Diners can even explore a mix-and-match section for lunch and dinner that promotes a communal dining experience that encourages diners to share and explore different dishes as a single table.

Some of the highlights from their delightful breakfast and lunch menu include the Nduja & Spinach Omelette that’s packed with feta, vine tomatoes, smoked paprika oil served on white sourdough toast; as well as a mix-and-match option of salad/vegetable pairings with a choice of protein for lunch like a cool Asian Slaw with delicious grilled free-range sirloin, served with onion and mint chimichurri. They even have different offerings for dinner and delectable desserts to end any meal on a happy note.

To celebrate the opening of Shake Shack Westgate the burger joint will debut their Black Truffle Menu featuring 3 crowd favorites with a truffle twist: Black Truffle Burger, Black Truffle Chick ‘n and Crinkle Cut Fries topped with their black truffle sauce. This limited-time menu is available at Shake Shack Westgate and all other outlets till 31 December 2021.

The Black Truffle Burger, an all-natural 100% Angus beef cheeseburger, is topped with swiss cheese, crispy fried shallots, fresh arugula and Shake Shack black truffle sauce, delivering layers of rich, savory flavors. Fans of the classic Chick’n can opt for the upgraded Black Truffle version, topped with fresh arugula and house pickled shallots. No Shake Shack experience is complete without the signature Crinkle Cut fries, and the limited-time Black Truffle Fries are topped with the rich black truffle sauce, crispy shallots and a sprinkle of fresh scallions.

Shake Shack Westgate also presents the exclusive Peelin’ Cherry-fic concrete, a re-inspiration of the classic banana split. Featuring a vanilla and chocolate custard base, the concrete is a blend of fresh bananas, caramel sauce, crunchy sugar cone shards and Lemuel chocolate chunks by home-grown Singaporean bean-to-bar chocolate maker, Ronald Ng. Topped with a cherry, the Peelin’ Cherry-fic concrete balances rich chocolatey flavors and fruity aromas.

In line with Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, 5% of sales from the Shack Attack™ concrete will be donated to Beyond Social Services, a non-profit dedicated to supporting youths and children from less privileged backgrounds.

Open Farm Community, a MICHELIN Plate awarded restaurant built within one of Singapore’s pioneering urban farming concepts, launches Farm Feast, a new family-style tasting menu designed to reinvigorate the different relationships on the dining table – between friends and families, as well as diners and their food.

Designed as a hearty celebration of food, the Farm Feast is exactly as positioned with a visually invigorating table of sharing plates at $88 per pax for dinner, with a minimum company of two. Featuring a mix of European-styled plates weaved with an Asian familiarity, the Farm Feast is served with ancient grains and seeds and a colourful array of house pickles, sauces or sambals. Kick off the feast with crowd favourites like the criminally addictive Cauliflower Wings – think battered florets sauced in tamarind miso with finishing sprinkles of sesame and green onions.

Guests can look forward to a choice of hearty signatures based on dietary preferences. Popular choices include the tender Grassfed NZShort Rib and the Tiberias Barramundi for pescatarian lovers. The latter is complemented with smoked mussels cream, smoked ikura and delightful textures of puffed pulut hitam (black glutinous rice). Vegetarian options are also available.

Integral to the experience is an array of accompaniments that will be served alongside the mains.  Each Farm Feast is served with a blend of ancient grains and seeds embellished with fresh herbs and adorned with house-made pickles such as QJ’s Kimchi, a reinvented take on the Korean staple. A decadent chocolate dessert made from Single Origin beans closes the feast on a sweet note.

The Farm Feast is best rounded off with glasses of natural wine for a complete escape. Curated by Drunken Farmer, orders of the Farm Feast come with a wine pairing option ($40) for three glasses of wines that are carefully chosen to elevate the meal.

Be transported to the cobbled streets of Pisa, Italy, and bask in the magic of Pisan cuisine at Resorts World Sentosa‘s newest restaurant – Curate Cucina Pisana, which is helmed by Pisan native Chef de Cuisine, Davide Bizzarri. Having obtained two culinary degrees in Pisa under the guidance of famed Chef Andrea Lorenzi and cutting his teeth under renowned celebrity chef brothers Enrico and Roberto Cerea for five years, Chef Davide combines his refined culinary expertise with fresh seasonal ingredients to create a delightful fare bursting with authentic Tuscan flavours.

Diners can journey through delicious traditional Pisan recipes and techniques that have been passed down through generations in Chef Davide’s family and perfected through his own philosophy and interpretation. Experience a gastronomical journey around the Pisa province with prized truffles, such as White Truffle, Bianchetto Truffle and Summer Truffle, specially sourced from the three-generational family-owned Savini Tartufi farm.

Some notable dishes include Pappa al Pomodoro di Mare ($24++), an antipasti comprising soft melt-in-the-mouth Stracciatella cheese on top of a rich soup medley of fresh Tuscan bread, sweet vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh basil and garlic, finished with fresh white clams and blue mussels stewed in pescatora sauce. Fans of pasta can tuck into the colourful Fusilli di Pisa ($58++) featuring unique Pisa Tower-shaped Fusilli pasta with fresh Boston lobster, sweet Tomberry and green zucchini, complete with lashings of Sardinia’s saffron cream sauce for a hearty burst of flavour.

What’s an Italian meal without desserts? We highly recommend the iconic Pisan dessert Torta co’ Bischeri ($16++), a velvety rich dark chocolate and risotto cake filled with raisins, pine nuts and candied fruits or indulge in the Instagram-worthy Pera del Chianti ($16++), a lustrous dessert of Chianti wine poached pear with panna cotta filling and sprinklings of edible gold flakes.

The Pisan experience is never complete without a toast to conclude a marvelous meal. A mobile mixology bar known as the Spritz Trolley will be set up in the restaurant’s alfresco area during the restaurant’s Aperitivo Hours from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in evenings, where bartenders will prepare and serve a variety of signature Italian cocktails such as the fruity Bellini ($18++).

Following the success of its debut dining experience, Revolver has unveiled an all-new menu celebrating the best in seasonal produce and spice, influenced by the Malabar Coast. Award-winning Executive Chef Saurabh Udinia continues to present inventive dishes using premium, exciting ingredients while retaining his approach to cooking, using flame and smoke. Revolver also offers revolving menus every two months with fresh, innovative Discovery and Experience menus.

The Experience tasting menu (SGD 199++) introduces new highlights such as a flavourfully-spiced  Malabar Crab and Parmesan Kulchette, and Hokkaido Scallops grilled over wood embers and served with Indian lemon pickle beurre blanc, topped with finger lime. The premium menu ends with the Dessert Kulchette – the sweet version of the tandoor-cooked flat bread, it’s stuffed with Indian milk fudge and topped with ghee, jaggery, pistachios, almonds and kulfi gelato.

Other exquisite menus include The Discovery menu (SGD 139++), The Vegetarian menu (SGD 129++) and a 6-course Lunch menu (SGD 99++).
