Venus Legacy is one of the most advanced machines in the aesthetics market for combating stubborn fat areas and cellulite. The treatment delivers deep heating with radio-frequency and pulsed electromagnetic fields, which has been proven to tighten skin and reduce cellulite. Venus Legacy is said to ‘demonstrate visibly firmer and tighter youthful skin, in many cases, after the initial treatment.’
The 30-minute procedure was painless and relatively, comfortable – I could browse on my phone leisurely throughout the session. My therapist first applied a gel over my tummy area before using the Venus Legacy device to target my fats and move around the area. It did get a little hot as the treatment continues and when that happened, my therapist would turn the heat settings down slightly, before beginning the circular motions again.
My tummy area felt toned and tighter the next day like I had done some ab crunches the day before, possibly due to the intense massaging from my friendly therapist. I can see how this could be a good alternative to exercising! While I felt slightly fitter, I did not see any immediate firmness to the skin. Lipsonix

I heard rave reviews from a friend of mine about how Liposonix helped her remove her tummy bulge hence, I figured I would have to give the treatment a shot. Liposonix makes use of High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound Energy (HIFU) and the principles of custom contouring, which is the ability to treat any small pocket of fat, regardless of location.
According to the therapist at The Knightsbridge Clinic, Liposonix is especially useful for individuals who do not have a high volume of fat and would just like to target a selected area. With a hand-piece size of 5cm x 5cm , Liposonix can treat any areas of fats which have at least a volume of 5cm x 5cm x 2.5cm (1 inch). It is quite handy to treat small stubborn bra-bulges or underarm fats. After a consultation with the doctor, my problem area, the tummy, was marked out with numbered squares and my treatment commenced.
The doctor meticulously targeted each inch of fat around my tummy, working his way through the numbers. The session started out fine, but as we progressed the pain intensified. On a scale of one to 10, I would rate it as four.
The interesting thing about Liposonix is that its effects continue for up to three months after the session. Do note that the Liposonix’s full effect is not immediate as it’s meant to be a long-term and continued approach to weight loss. After your session, the body will continue to naturally and gradually remove the treated fat in the next three months, leaving you with a more contoured body thereafter.
For me, I saw my tummy visibly reduce in size two months after my treatment, though I would still need to tone it up to achieve the svelte physique I am after.
