Need some fitness inspiration to get yourself to the gym for your workout? Here's our favourite fit dads in Singapore you should follow on Instagram to get you pumped. BY KIMBERLY TAN
Vincent Ng, former actor and Wushu champion, founder of Wufang and MAST Fitness
One of the most inspiring fit dads is Vincent Ng, father of an adorable 10 month old toddler. The 43-year-old, together with Alfred Sim, founded the newly opened MAST Fitness, which combines martial arts and strength training in its workouts. Vincent’s workout routine consists of jogging or running thrice a week, and hitting the gym four times a week. Additionally, he also cycles on the weekends – all this to ensure he stays below 10 per cent body fat.
Jason Julius Lim, Programme Director, Team Axis
Jason Julius Lim, 34, is a dad of three boys (the third one on the way), and is the programme director of Team Axis. In one of his Instagram posts, he shares his workout of the day. For example, a workout might consist of standing military presses, incline shrug raises, and face pull SS devil presses. His children are definitely in good hands when it comes to fitness.
Baihakki Khaizan, Singapore's most famous defender
Dedicated father of three, Baihakki Khaizan, 35, is a center back for Trat FC in Thailand. Aside from soccer training, he also weight trains, and enjoys the occasional swim and bike ride.
Andie Chen, actor
Andie Chen, 34, is a father of two, and as part of the #manbeast challenge, Andie has to work out for at least two hours daily, six times a week, with one day of recovery. He opted to do Muay Thai, cardio and weightlifting and recently, he’s also done an incredible 80-hour water fast. From the above picture, it looks like he might want Aden to follow in his footsteps, martial arts-wise. In fact, Aden is a certified white belt.
Isa Halim, football coach, Puma athlete and SportSG ambassador
Isa Halim, 33, often trains in BEATX Studio, does full body workouts, rowing or pedalling on the stationary bicycle. On top of that, he also does 400 push-ups and 200 sit-ups every day. Need we say more?

Got up off my ass this morning to go riding with @kelly_tandiono after a solid week of proper drinking nights including a pretty heavy drinking session last Saturday for @clairejedrek and i, to celebrate our second kids baby shower! 60km under the belt this morning after a fantastic sunrise sky in Changi at our halfway point! Good times! 😆👍👊🏼🚵♀️ . . . . . #pinarello #cycleworx #campagnolo #pasttime #hobby #training #goodtimes #bmc #teammachineslr01 #enve #oakleysg #oakleyprizm
