Christmas Feasts for Your Year End Parties

Celebrate the festive season with your family and friends and indulge in these delectable Christmas feasts.
Aside from indulging in a lavish Christmas feast, children can also engage in activities like cupcake decorating at Silver Shell Café.

For the first time in two years, we can finally gather together without restrictions. What better way to celebrate with your nearest and dearest than with a lavish and delectable Christmas feast at these restaurants? There’s something for everyone – kid-friendly feasts, cocktails to celebrate and decadent afternoon teas.

Kid-Friendly Christmas Feasts

Children will love the buffet at Silver Shell Café as they can get their food all on their own, and the various treats in store for them.
Nando's Singapore

The award-winning South African fast-casual chain’s Christmas platters will be available from 21 November 2022 to 8 January 2023 at Nando’s Casas. These platters ($76) will include a whole chicken, two regular sides, bottomless chips and spiced rice, and four bottomless drinks, and a bottled sauce. Additionally, customers can also redeem a bottle of their favourite PERi-PERi sauce as part of the platter. These can be personalised at selected Nando’s Casas from now till 18 December 2022, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These are great for stocking fillers or keepsakes for Nando’s fans. 

Hilton Singapore Orchard

Hilton Singapore Orchard is celebrating its first holiday season throughout December with buffets, roasts, and communal-style Christmas feasts at Estate, and Osteria Mozza. First, Estate’s buffet spreads ($78 to $108++ per person) showcase fresh seafood, roasted black Angus ribeye at the live Christmas carvery and its signature black truffle roasted duck. Additionally, top up $80++ for free-flow soft drinks, house wines, beer, champagne and mulled wine. In particular, for the Grand Christmas Eve lunch and dinner, and Sunday brunch and dinner ($128 to $188++ per person), guests can indulge in Maine lobster, Alaskan crab leg, classic Beef Wellington and whole Wagyu Prime Rib. Children will love the live music from Christmas carollers, magicians, an appearance from Santa Claus and indoor snow on Level 5. Be sure to make reservations in advance

Another option is the four-course family-style set menu ($149++ per person) at Osteria Mozza on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, including festive desserts and pastas and antipasti. All the way up to Christmas, Executive Chef Peter Birks will unveil daily specials. Children five and under can dine for free while those six to 12 dine at 50 per cent off adult price.

Hilton Honors member promotions: 25 per cent off food and beverage, and earn 500 Hilton Honors Bonus Points at Estate. Festive goods – 15 per cent off, additional 5 per cent if fully prepaid before 10 December 2022. 

Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa

Have a lovely Christmas feast at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa. Savour lavish buffets, succulent roasts at Silver Shell Café on 24, 25 and 31 December. Don’t miss the oven roasted turkey, black forest ham, premium seafood on ice and handcrafted log cakes. Pair these with the dill-infused Four Pillars Christmas gin distilled from Christmas puddings. At the same time, children will also be able to enjoy the buffet, with lower counters to get their own food. Additionally, they’ll love festive treats like cotton candy, cupcake decorating and a complimentary Santa hat for children under 12 during the Christmas buffets. Swensen's

Swensen’s rounds up the best of the season’s traditions, and their lineup includes the delectable Christmas chicken waffles, seafood platter, and lamb shank Shakshouka (prices for these three are from $23.43 to $48) with garlic sourdough bread. Of course, in true Swensen’s fashion, a meal would not be complete without their iconic sundaes ($8.35 to $15.84). Try the Biscoff cheesecake, More S’mores or the Tiramisu (Non-alcoholic) sundaes or all three flavours with Claus is Comin’. For a savoury twist, try the Turkey Crackles sundae with ‘Turkey Leg’ ice cream, and Sticky Chewy Chocolate. All these are available until 3 Jan 2023 for dine-in, home delivery and self-collection at eight selected outlets. Other treats include ice cream cakes and log cakes. Prices quoted are subject to service charge for dine-in, and after GST for delivery.

Christmas Lunch, Dinner and Brunch

Some highly anticipated delights at Tablescape include the SIngapore Chilli Crab, pan fried foie gras and the Australian Angus beef striploin.

A generous buffet ($128++ per person) awaits on Christmas Day at Tablescape Restaurant and Bar in Grand Park City Hall. Some highlights of this Christmas feast include the chef a-la-minute selections such as housemade Singapore chilli crab or pan seared foie gras. Other options are the festive set lunch or dinner ($48 to $108++ per person). Start with chestnut soup, followed by gnocchi with sauteed tomato pesto and black truffle shavings. Exclusively for dinner is the slow-roasted Australian Angus beef striploin with housemade potato fontina pave and sautéed vegetables. 

Racines at Sofitel Singapore City Centre

At Sofitel Singapore City Centre, enjoy bountiful festive feasts from 1 November to 1 January 2023 at Racines. Enjoy the weekday semi-buffet dinner ($98++ per adult) with French flair, featuring the seafood shepherd’s pie, gammon ham, or duck breast in mulled wine. Diners will also get unlimited servings of salads, soups, appetisers and desserts. Otherwise, families can enjoy a delectable dinner buffet on 24, 25 and 26 December ($138 to $148++ per adult, up to $69++ per child from six to 11 years old). Some highlights include the chargrilled Angus beef with mustard sauce, and roasted turkey with truffle butter. Alternatively, try the more casual set lunch or dinner (from $39 to $65++ per person), featuring the hay-smoked Magret duck breast with Christmas spice and soy baked cod fish with seasonal vegetables and chestnut mousse. Child price is valid for those aged between 6 to 11 years old. 

Path

Available exclusively from 22nd to 25th December 2022, Path presents a specially curated tasting menu ($198++ per pax). Just for this season, Path will also be open on Sunday, 25 December and closed on Monday, 26 December. Start off the gastronomic journey with  Chef Marvas’s canapés, a mix of hot and cold dishes. Following this is the French Arctic Char, a cold-water fish. Other dishes include the BBQ quail drumlet, and braised Australian Wagyu short rib “Canton style Pot Au Feu”. Perfectly accompanying the savoury dishes are a bevy of sweet such as the Christmas bauble made of single malt whiskey ice cream, nuts and chocolate. 

Festive Drinks: Two-hour free flow of Henriot Brut Souverain, NV ($70++ per person, all guests at the table must order this). Otherwise, try the Flight of 3 ($42++), with the Henriot Brut Souverain, NV, Kono’s Sauvignon Blanc and Paul Jaboulet Aîné’s French estate’s Parallèle 45.

Binary

From 16 to 31 December 2022, on Fridays and Saturdays between 6 to 9pm, Binary offers five different, unlimited pours of cocktails ($58++ per person). These include the Holiday Sangria, made with Shiraz and Grand Marnier, cinnamon, orange juice, fresh orange and lemon slices. Pair the cocktails with Binary’s festive sharing platters and a la carte items. For example, the Honey Baked Ham Platter ($88++, good for two to three persons) consists of 500g honey baked ham and a choice of two plates or sides from the a la carte menu. Other options are the Angus OP Rib Platter, or the Ham & Beef Platter. Round off the dinner with the Hong Kong Egglet, served with a tin of Oscietra caviar, the Candied Yam Mash and the Festive Egglet Surprise ($14 to $118++).

Scenic Afternoon Christmas Feasts

Feast of the best seafood and steaks at Bedrock Origin and don't miss out on their Bombe Alaska.
Altro Zafferano

Enjoy panoramic views of the city at Altro Zafferano during your Christmas Brunch on 24 and 25 December. Highlights of the four-course table d’hote ($198+ per person) include the Mazara del Vallo red prawn tartare with Oscietra caviar, and the Capon ravioli with black truffle. Free flow boozy options (from $228++ per person) are also available. Only children above 6 years old can dine here.

LeVeL 33

LeVeL 33, the world’s highest urban microbrewery, offers a panoramic view of the Marina Bay cityscape. On 24, 25 and 26 December, enjoy a Christmas Lunch Roast ($88++ per person), with chilled tiger prawns and free range chicken parfait. Following this is a main course paired with sides, and two different desserts to share.

Bedrock Origin

Bedrock Origin at Oasia Hotel Sentosa, is renowned for its succulent signature steaks and the finest seafood. Its festive lineup is available from 1 December 2022 to 31 January 2023. The Surf & Turf PLatter ($338++ for two to three persons) features Australian rock lobster Thermidor and 72-hour slow-cooked black Angus short ribs. To complement this platter, Bedrock Origin has specially picked a Cazes Alter Côtes du Roussilon 2019 ($24 a glass or $120 a bottle). 

 

Save some space for Singapore’s largest Bombe Alaska ($89 to $199++), featuring delicate meringue encasing raspberry white chocolate ice cream, and crunchy chocolate balls. A show-stopping flambé of rum is poured over tableside. Another delectable dessert is the Nutty Chocolate Crumble Cake in a box ($36++, 5-in). This cake, in a limited edition box, comprises chocolate chips, pecans and walnuts, topped with crunchy chocolate crumbs. Both the Surf & Turf Platter, and Nutty Chocolate Crumble Cake must be ordered one day in advance. Meanwhile, the Bombe Alaska must be ordered three days in advance. 

Michelin-starred Christmas Feasts

JAG

Another option is the Michelin-starred Restaurant JAG offering a special Christmas Discovery Menu ($398++ per person) for dinner on Christmas Eve. Here, guests can sample the best of the season’s harvest in 17 plates,  accompanied by freshly baked bread, cheese trolley and seasonal mignardise offerings. The produce is presented in myriad textures and ways with perfectly balanced flavours. Children 10 years and above are welcome.

Buona Terra

For a truly decadent feast, sample the best of the white truffle season at Michelin-starred Buona Terra. Available from now until the end of the season, this fragrant delicacy is paired with contemporary Italian creations. 

Afternoon Tea and Cocktails

Catch up with friends and family over a festive afternoon tea at 1864 at Sofitel Singapore City Centre.

Another option is the festive afternoon tea ($128++ for two persons) at 1864 in Sofitel Singapore City Centre, with finger sandwiches and pastries like the mini roasted turkey sandwich, chestnut berry financier and pecan cinnamon cheesecake. Try the Papa Noël’s Mule ($20++), with Rémy Martin VSOP, Campari, angostura bitters and ginger beer, or Mrs. Claus’ Cosmo ($18++), made from Ketel One Vodka, cranberry and lime juice and Limoncello. Ginger.Lily at Hilton Singapore

Catch up with friends or family over a yuletide-inspired afternoon tea and cocktails ($68++ with free flow coffee or tea) at Ginger.Lily in Hilton Singapore. Savour the egg sandwich with Avruga caviar, snow crab roll with chives and the ginger-spiced and vanilla scones. Other festive confections include the mini minced fruit pie, chocolate Yule log, Xmas Baileys praline and spice macaron. Pair your afternoon tea with Ginger.Lily’s premium tea varieties or the holiday themed cocktails ($20++), such as the eco-conscious Botanical Trail Mulled Wine, Clarified Eggnog, or the Hot Chocolate Honey.
