This year, International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrates women from all walks of life and gets people talking about why equal opportunities aren’t enough. Equity means creating an inclusive world where we can support each other within our sphere of influence. Barre & Breakfast Date by WeBarre

This International Women’s Day, WeBarre is partnering with 1-Group’s Wildseed Cafe at The Alkaff Mansion, The Summerhouse as well as Bee’s Knees at The Garage. This event celebrates allyship and the strong female figures in our lives with an invigorating 45-minute WeBarre Signature Multi-Level workout followed by breakfast, which includes a soup, your choice of a main dish and coffee/tea. Afternoon Tea at The Marmalade Pantry

Treat the inspirational women figures in your life this International Women’s Day with The Marmalade Pantry’s Afternoon Tea. It features a purple-hued selection of dainty sweets and savouries like Blackcurrant Macaron, Purple Mashed Potato Croquette, Prawns with Blueberry Feta on Purple Potato Chips and many more. Each set is served with two pots of tea from homegrown brand Monogram Tea. The Afternoon Tea costs S$78 for two persons. It is available at The Marmalade Pantry Downtown outlet, from 3pm to 6pm daily and The Marmalade Pantry ION outlet, from 2pm to 6pm from Monday to Thursday, excluding public holidays.

Fair For All All-Day Open House By AWARE

Fair for All is a celebratory community event held by AWARE to commemorate International Women’s Month. They’ve put together an open house at the AWARE Centre in Dover Crescent, with free admission to all. At the event, you can trade pre-loved items at the Singapore Really Really Free Market (SRRFM) and attend mini workshops on bystander intervention and recycling. As well, take the opportunity to listen to a panel on the intersection of gender and climate activism, and learn more about AWARE’s work. Register here for workshop/panel sessions.

International Day Women’s Day Lunch by The British Chamber of Singapore

The British Chamber of Singapore’s flagship diversity event of the year, the International Women’s Day Lunch, returns to the calendar for 2023! It features a three-course lunch and a stellar line-up of speakers on this year’s theme – #EmbraceEquity – for up to 300 guests at the Swissotel.

The keynote speaker this year is Kateryna Zelenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore. Her address will be followed by a moderated panel discussion including Christine Amour-Levar, Founder of Women on a Mission and HER Planet Earth, and Naomi Vowels, Co-Founder and Director of givvable. Fashion Swap & Open Wardrobe Pop-Up by Cloop

Cloop is celebrating International Women’s Day 2023 at Csuites from 8 to 12 March. Head over to swap or shop sustainably with your friends and family. How does it work? Simply bring a minimum of five to maximum 10 clean and great condition items (clothes, shoes, bags, accessories) to swap for up to 10 items. These encompass both women’s and men’s items. What’s more, you can take home more items (maximum of 10) than you bring (minimum of 5). However, any item above 10 will be charged at S$10 each. Aside from clothes, there are also accessories and basics, which cost three-for-S$10 or S$4 each. Sign up here.

Celebrate International Women’s Day with Etsy’s upcoming craft party! You’ll have the opportunity to browse and purchase from talented creatives at the Art Market. From handmade jewellery to pottery, paintings, and body products, there’s no shortage of unique and beautiful creations to discover and support. Best part? Admission is free. Aside from the Art Market, you can also unleash your own creativity through four different Craft Workshops at a very special ticket price.
