And what better way to welcome in the New Year than to take the family out to catch the spectacular fireworks display by the Singapore bayfront? Sands Skypark Observation Deck, 10 Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018956

At 57 floors above ground, Sand Skypark Observation Deck has a bird’s eye view of almost the whole of Singapore. Although the entry charge is it inclusive may be a little steep ($70 per adult and $50 per child), it is worth it if you would like a breathtaking view of the fireworks this New Year’s Eve.

Here’s an idea. Take the family out for one last evening picnic at Marina Barrage, then hang by the rooftop park and claim your seats to witness the amazing fireworks display.

With an amazing view of the Marina Bay area, the Singapore Flyer is undoubtedly one of the best ways to view the fireworks display. You not only get to escape the crowd, but also safely see the fireworks, up close.

If you’re reluctant to head into the city but still want to catch the fireworks, the Bay East Garden also has a spectacular view of the fireworks display set against Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay skyline.

Not many Singaporeans know that at the top of the Esplanade, there is a roof terrace, with an amazing view of Singapore’s skyline – perfect for viewing the fireworks. However, the space is pretty limited so you might want to head over early to get a good spot.
