The final day of Singapore Fashion Week brought high levels of anticipation, as we all wondered what the closing show might bring. Celebrities, media personalities and fashion influencers waited eagerly to see what designer Han Chong would showcase on the runway for his upcoming Spring 2017 collection.

The collection captivated the audience with beautiful guipure lace dresses, very much the signature style of Self Portrait. An eye-catching lace dress from this collection is a must in every mama’s wardrobe! Strikingly, there were also elements of military-inspired motifs in this collection with leather pants and ruffled shirts to add a little rough edge. When I caught up with Han Chong later in the evening, he mentioned that he wanted to “mix it up and surprise a little” with this collection!

My two favourite looks were the following styles. Stylish and intriguing, these two outfits could very well make their way into this Mama’s wardrobe in the upcoming season!

For the closing show, I opted for a look that could take me through the night with this jumpsuit by Bec and Bridge that was both comfortable, relaxed yet stylish. I paired the outfit with a vintage clutch and earrings by Laurie Fleming Jewellery.

It was also lovely to catch up with media artists — Kay Tian Rigby (Winner of SupermodelMe Season 4), Jamie Ng (Artist Manager), Natalia Ng (TV presenter), Yumika Hoskin (model and TV presenter) and Sarah West.
