#Fiquestagram 36: Instagram Moments From Mums We Love

By Seow Kai Lun

This weekend marked the start of the school holidays in Singapore. Since school’s out, there are many activities that have been organised just for kids across the island and our Instagram feed was full of little ones enjoying themselves in the company of their mummies and daddies. Here’s where they went to over the weekend.

Joanne Peh – @joannepeh

Joanne and Yuwu brought Baby Qi out to the Children’s Biennale at National Gallery Singapore and it seems that the family had fun pasting dots in The Obliteration Room and on one another. We think Joanne is spot on with her observation that it’s what kids like to do at home too, plastering the walls and furniture with stickers that they can lay their hands on.

Diana’s brood took a tour of the Army Open House 2017 at the F1 pit and here’s them doing a salute like good soldiers would.

Candice Tay – @missustay

All it took was two hours for Candice’s kids to learn a song and dance routine at Act 3 International’s A Wonderland of Toys. Love the beautifully decorated venue – Ion Art Gallery – that the workshop was held at.

We had a fun morning at Cold Storage Kids Run, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year! Held at Palawan Green, we loved the vast amount of space and how it felt like we didn't need to squeeze with anyone this time. The weather was perfect, except for a few drops of rain which stopped in a matter of minutes. We enjoyed running past some of our favourite sights in Sentosa and the little girl exclaimed halfway along the route "Mummy, we are at Kidzania!" We ended the day by playing on the bouncy castles at the carnival and the hubby also did a workout with the kids, which includes leopard crawling, planking, sprinting and more. Sports is definitely not just a good way to stay healthy, but a great time for the family to come together and bond too! Looking forward to more family runs in future! #ahappymum #coldstoragekidsrun #cskr2017 #

Ariel and Angel got to run past familiar Sentosa icons with their mum Summer at the Cold Storage Run. That wasn’t the end of the fun they had as they got to spend time in a large bouncy castle and ball pit as well.

Besides being in awe of the realistic Dinosaurs, children can let their creativity run wild at the multiple activity zones that cost only S$5 per activity. 'Light up Dinosaurs" is a hands on activity where they learn how electrical circuits work and also get to personalise your very own dinosaur-shaped finger lights. They can even create a Dinosaur mask to transform themselves into mini Dinosaurs! Plus you can even make a model of a flying Pteranodon! Come embark on a Jurassic journey like no other with fun-filled dinosaur ride & get your hands dirty by looking for fossils in the sand pit that you can bring home! Don't forget to also catch the "RAWR" Science show with our Dino expert Jim, over the weekends at 1.30pm, 4.30pm and 7.30pm . . . RAWR! Dinosaurs Unearthed At Plaza Singapura Main Atrium Level 1, from 26 May to 11 June 2017, 11am – 8.30pm . . #ryanandryo #PSxdinoroar #dinosaur #plazasingapura #sciencecentresingapore #roar #schoolholidays #sgkids #sgig #igsg #momlife #momhub #singsporemomblogger #momblogger #sgmom #sgmombloggers #instagram_kids #instafun #funday #dino #happy #kids #kidslove #toddler #instakids #funday #dinorides #zoomoov #dinosaursunearthed

Ryan and Ryo had lots of fun with dinosaurs at Plaza Singapura. Definitely a must-visit for little ones who are fascinated by prehistoric creatures.
