Our dad crush of the week is drop dead gorgeous, has the picture perfect life, travels around the world, and looks like he belongs on the cover of a high fashion magazine. He’s Italian model Mariano di Vaio, who is also a blogger, entrepreneur and dad to an adorable five-month-old son, Nathan.

Mariano got his start in modelling and acting when he was 18, leaving his home country of Italy for London. His career path then brought him places: to New York for an acting course at the New York Film Academy and around Europe for modelling assignments.
He has worked for brands such as Honda, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger and Omega, and is frequently invited to exclusive fashion soirees.
But he is not just a pretty face. In 2012, he started a blog that has since evolved to become a digital magazine with a focus on men’s passions. He is now one of the most influential lifestyle bloggers around, with almost six million followers on Instagram alone.
Mariano has also branched out into design with his own MDV brand. Although the brand started out with sneakers, eyewear and accessories for men, it has begun to include items for ladies as well.
His success in the fashion and lifestyle industries aside, the multi-talented man has also been working on a song with his friend that he is releasing on his birthday.
Being musically inclined sure comes in handy, especially when one has little ones to lull to sleep. Mariano puts his voice to good use by singing lullabies to his son.
We love that despite his thriving online and fashion career, Mariano is very much a devoted husband and father — he has never been afraid of proclaiming his adoration and affection for his wife and son.
Though he’s a new dad, he certainly doesn’t act like one and has taken to caring for a little one like a duck to water, managing to even look impeccable while doing so.
We can’t wait to see more loving daddy and son moments on Instagram from him, and how Mariano dresses his mini me up in the future.
